It’s always such a privilege if you have someone as wonderful as Val in your life. I was even more fortunate as she was my dear aunt, a beautiful, trustworthy and hilariously funny presence I’ve had all these years and I feel so sad at the thought of a Christmas without her, but I am so grateful for all those treasured memories. I shall miss her greatly, and do my best to channel her kindness with fun approach to life in the years to come. RIP darling aunty Val xx
